45th Year Anniversary

Please join the Amherstburg Freedom Museum as we celebrate its 45th Anniversary on September 21st! You can join the festivities online as we are hosting both a virtual event and a live event on Sunday, September 20th from 1-3:30pm on the grounds of the museum. Admission is by donation, and registration for the in-person event is required.

To commemorate our 45th anniversary, our gathering will feature music performances, interviews, recollections and a special contest for those who will attend our in-person event. Decorate your mask and come celebrate with us! The most creative mask will win a museum prize package!

We want to thank the community for their support over the last 45 years. This in-person event will comply with the guidelines of the health unit including a mandatory mask rule and adhering to their limit of no more than 100 people outside and 50 people inside the museum building.
